ATS-AMC-02 helmet has been designed to be lightweight, with an ultra-low profile of the shell, which ensures the widest viewing angle. It is fully compatible with a wide range of communication equipment, glasses, gas mask, and balaclavas. This helmet meets NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA ballistic protection standards for ballistic helmets. Fragmentation protection meets STANAG 2920 standards.

HELMET WEATHER RESISTANCE

The temperature conditions where this helmet will remain effective are between -67 degrees F (-55C) and 167 degrees F (75C). 

This helmet is fire retardant, meaning that the shell is self-extinguishing and does not sustain fire. 

This helmet meets impact and shock absorption standards according to EN397.

MAINTENANCE

Regularly inspect the helmet shell for signs of damage. Ensure all bots are tight. Wipe dirt and grime from the helmet using cloth soaked in warm water with mild detergent. Wipe off soap suds with clean water. All to air dry in war atmosphere. Do not attempt to apply solvents or aggressive cleaning agents to the helmet. 

SIZING

When measuring your head circumference, start from the top of the forehead, around the top of the ears to the bottom of the back of your skull.
