FIREARMS-SPECIFIC DATA HANDLING
• ATF Compliance: Firearm transaction records (including your name, address, and FFL details) are maintained in our Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) log for 20 years as required by 27 CFR § 478.129.
• Form 44 73: Completed only by the receiving FFL - NAT does not collect or store Form 44 73 data.
• NICS Checks: Conducted solely by the receiving FFL.
DATA SECURITY
• Encryption: SSL/TLS for all data in transit.
• Secure Storage: Firearm records stored in locked, access-controlled systems.
• Access Controls: Limited to authorized personnel with need-to-know.
• PCI Compliance: No full card data stored; tokenization used.
• Regular Audits: Annual security and compliance reviews.
Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure. You transmit data at your own risk.
DATA RETENTION
• We keep records of payment tokens until account closure or 7 years to comply with tax regulations
• Marketing preferences, unless you opt-out of it.
• Records of website logs up to 90 days for security purposes.
CHANGE TO THIS POLICY
